GAEL Policies

The Georgia Association of Educational Leaders (GAEL) is organized as a 501(c)(3) non-profit association. It is governed by a Board of Directors. Officers of the Association consist of a president, president-elect, immediate past president, and secretary-treasurer.

Affiliated organizations include the Georgia School Superintendents Association, GSSA; Georgia Association of Secondary School Principals, GASSP; Georgia Association of Middle School Principals, GAMSP; Georgia Association of Elementary School Principals, GAESP; Georgia Association of Curriculum and Instructional Supervision, GACIS; Georgia Council of Administrators of Special Education, G-CASE; and Georgia Association of School Personnel Administrators, GASPA.

Membership is open to all individuals who are active or aspiring educational leaders in K-12 school systems in Georgia. Memberships are also available for retired school administrators. Corporate memberships are available to those companies, vendors, sponsors, and individuals who wish to affiliate with GAEL in a support capacity and for the purpose of receiving GAEL publications.
