To:  All Georgia Superintendents,

As announced at the GAEL conference in July, we want to personally invite you and every Superintendent in the State of Georgia to nominate one high school senior for a College Army ROTC three-year scholarship.  We have dedicated 20 scholarships specifically for your Georgia high school students.

The Army is seeking student scholars, athletes, and others with leadership potential to serve as an Officer in the United States Army upon graduation from college.

We ask you to nominate students of great character, those that you expect to succeed academically in college, and those that are willing to work towards success – students with “grit.”  Consider those students with great potential (even those who may not have the highest SAT/ACT score or GPA).  We are confident that our College Army ROTC program can and will assist your student to become a successful leader.  Our Scholarship Enrollment Officers across the state will assist each nominee to meet the requirements to qualify for a national scholarship (4-year) or a dedicated GAEL (3-year) scholarship.
