Dr. Claire Miller, Finalist for 2017 AASA Women in School Leadership Award!

Claire is the Chief Academic Officer for Oconee County Schools and GACIS Past President.  The AASA Women in School Leadership Award is presented by the School Superintendents Association (AASA) and the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. The award program is designed to recognize the exceptional leadership of active, front-line female leaders who are making a difference in the lives of students every day. Three awards are presented to recognize female educators whose talent, creativity and vision are exemplary. Claire is one of two finalists for The Central Office/Principal Award. The winner will be announced at the 2017 AASA National Conference in New Orleans.
