Georgia School Districts Named Technology Leaders

Fourteen Georgia districts won the 2015-2016 Digital School District Survey. The study, coordinated by the Center for Digital Education in partnership with the National School Boards Association, showcases exemplary school boards’ and districts’ use of technology to govern the district, communicate with students, parents and the community, and to improve district
This year’s recognition goes to school districts for their expanding use of innovative technologies district-wide as well as in the classroom.
“Technology in public education is essential to streamline the work of school districts,” Valarie Wilson, GSBA Executive Director, said. “We are so pleased that Georgia school boards and school districts are being recognized for their creativity and innovation.”
