Ron is a former high school science teacher and taught for 17 years at Bleckley County High School. In 1996, he joined the Heart of Georgia RESA as the Science Specialist and in 2001 became the Professional Learning Coordinator. He has presented at various state science and national conferences. Having led numerous educational field trip experiences for educators, he has traveled throughout six continents. His future plans in addition to his professional duties and responsibilities will include leading a group of educators to the seventh continent in the upcoming years.
