Frances Young
Dr. Frances Young, the district P-5 Curriculum/Professional Learning Director, has worked in the Burke County School District for the past twenty nine years as a teacher, lead teacher, assistant principal for instruction and Curriculum Director. She coordinates the planning, development, professional learning, implementation, and evaluation of the instructional program including all academic, gifted and remedial programs. Dr. Young is also active in several professional and civic organizations. She is most proud of her two sons, Jeremy and Jamal, and her daughter JaBria. They live in Augusta, GA.
