Amy Krause, K-12 Curriculum Director for Cobb County School District, agrees wholeheartedly with Robert Frost that “education should both inspire and delight!” A graduate of the University of Alabama (BS in Early Childhood), UA of Birmingham (MA in Supervision/Principalship), and Jacksonville State University (EdS in Educational Leadership), she spent the past twenty-five years in education as a teacher, a lead teacher/learning support strategist, an assistant principal, a Title I consultant, a district level mathematics supervisor, and K-12 curriculum supervisor. Amy has served as the Director of Curriculum for CCSD for one and a half years. The first ten years of Amy’s career was in Alabama where she was involved in district and state level work. During her fifteen years in Georgia, she has continued to be involved at the state level contributing to the development of the Georgia Performance Standards, the frameworks, and advisory committees.
